At 6 Months....

The Stats are:

14 lbs 1 oz (below 1 percentile) (I think their scale was wrong - I really think he weighs more)
26.5 inches (40th percentile)
Head ? cm (10th percentile)
Adorability (100th percentile :)
Since he had his 6 month checkup today (even though he's almost 7 months) I had to post the "stats", which aren't very impressive but the doctor didn't seem too worried about it since he IS growing, just not as much as everyone else his age. That, and Kami was the same way until about 18 months and then she grew like a weed, so hopefully he does the same! He got his shots too, cried for about 10 seconds, then fell asleep in the carseat without a whimper. Really? Kami would cry for minutes at least! Oh how I hope he stays this mellow! He really is the happiest, best baby ever! I keep saying that, and not because I want to brag about it, but because I am SO SO thankful he is this way for now, and want to cherish it!!

He has been "crawling" or scooting around for about a month now, but every day he gets more coordinated and is almost doing the whole fluid crawling motion! It helps that he has Kami to try to catch up with. It's funny how they "play", which mostly consists of her squealing to get him to laugh, her taking toys away from him, trying to "help" by picking him up by his neck, or throwing toys at his head. It's all with good intentions, of course, but it does get old having to remind her how to be with him. Any suggestions? I don't like that I'm always having to get after her about it - what should I do?
He is into eating solids now - finally - and the only thing he does NOT like is green beans (I found that out the hard way - he totally gagged and vomited all over the place). Hopefully he will grow a little better with solids, but with how much he's getting around I doubt it. Do you know why he is so happy in these pictures? It's because I am holding his food, and he gets SO excited and happy when he sees his food! It's funny how they recognize it so early on...

A moment before the bib goes on and he opens up wide...
He is so ticklish too - way more than Kami was, which makes it really easy to get him to giggle and laugh...
And Kami thinks the baby jumper is hers too - which means this on a daily basis....
Inevitably after a few minutes of fun she gets stuck and hollers, "mom - help me....stuck!" Most of the time I let her try to figure it out - is that mean? It's pretty funny. I love Tanner's expression in the background.

I think he takes after Trent - he falls asleep really easily and is a fairly deep sleeper. He fell asleep on the way home from the park in the stroller - I love the whole leg sticking out of the side thing. Kami falls asleep in her carseat the same way.

We love you little TJ and can't believe you are growing up so fast! You warm our hearts daily with your sweet spirit and happy disposition. Can you stay that way? (especially through the teen years)

He is such a handsome boy! Can't believe its already been 6 months though!! WOW! Love that Kami is a 'good helper' with her little bro. It makes for good stories later down the line when he picks on her! :)
